They were able to accommodate a party of 13 on the whim just like that. Loved that . Customer service A plus. Everyone was so polite smiled and warm. Our serve was awesome. We did the 50 dollar unlimited Mimosa and I had the strawberry flavor. It was delicious. I loved that you can mix and match. I ordered chicken and waffles as the menu was limited with the unlimited mimosas. It was a lot of food. The food was good and fresh. I tasted someone's home fries. Best home fries I've ever had. Area was clean. Close to train station and bus.

This is my second time here and I always forget to review it. Cozy family friendly spot with great prices. I didn't get the best picture but the food was good! Hot and fresh. Me and a friend did the $50 unlimited mimosas and entree for one hour. We had pineapple, mango and strawberry. You will feel it so be careful lol It can get pretty busy so get there early in, before 12. Service is friendly and I always enjoy their music.

Chill, breakfast vibes from here! I had the Big Breakfast (with fluffy waffles, crispy bacon, and sunny eggs). A classic morning meal that always hits the spot. Alongside that, I also had refreshing mango juice and some hot coffee. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming!

They ain't lying about the wait! But the food is delicious. The food comes faster than you expect with the wait. There is a weird disclaimer about "no return on drinks" so really be specific. Their house champagne is Wyclef. Prosecco is a $10 up charge. I had the fried catfish and cheese grits. Lightly fried with perfect flavor. The omelette plate is huge. Pancakes are thick enough to withstand syrup, slight chew that you expect and the grits are on point! It's a seemingly small space that opens up with expansive basement across 2-3 storefronts. There is an outdoor seating area too that I can see gets packed in spring/summer. It looks like they have heaters too! Def a spot to hit when you are near BK Museum.

A black owned business, this is one I can appreciate and enjoy because the food is authentic and tastes delicious, from the first bite to the last bite. Look no further if you want some Harlem-style soul food. Nice sized portions, and I will say it again, the food is absolutely delicious. The chicken and waffles are a great place to start. First off, the chicken fry is fabulous and it starts burning off your fingers immediately. That is a great sign of a good fry. Not only that, but it has great seasoning and spice. The chicken itself is moist and has great flavor. Oh yeah, get dark meat. I did. That works best with this waffle. The waffle is great too, but it is a little too sweet. I ate this meal so fast to almost forgot to mention it. Two hunky pieces of chicken and four sweet triangles of tasty goodness and this is a solid brunch spot. Everybody is so nice. The wait staff, to the busboys, to the customers asking what you think of the food. It might be a small restaurant, but it works well being that it knows what it is and does not try to be anything more. To prevent fraud, they do ask for ID if you pay with a credit card. This was nothing more than what you would do at a bar. Do not read into the check too seriously. I would return for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

What a hidden gem. Looking for a quick, good breakfast in Brooklyn we were routed to Shanes. We started off as the only guests there that morning but the teeny upstairs of the restaurant with only 6-7 tables quickly filled up. The food was good and plentiful although we were all confused as to why a side salad automatically came with an early morning breakfast. While I love me a salad, I prefer it later on in the day. The breakfast burrito was huge, the home fries were crisp and well seasoned and the mimosas were strong. Shanes was definitely a good Brooklyn choice!
